2025 Domaine Girard Muscadet Sur Lie Tradition

Domaine Girard is a family-owned winery located in Maisdon-sur-Sèvre, at the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation in France's Loire Valley. Established in the 1940s-1950s by Gaston Girard, the estate transitioned from mixed farming to focus solely on viticulture. In 1991, Patrick Girard took over, expanding the vineyard to its current 38 hectares. Today, Patrick's son, Guillaume, represents the fourth generation involved in the winery's operations.

Tasting  note: Straw yellow colour with golden hints. An elegant nose with floral nuances of acacia and honey opening onto more complex and warm notes of candied citrus and grilled nuts. The palate has a fresh, mineral attack followed by powerful and persistent citrus notes. .

This wine is ideal as an aperitif but will also pair with seafood, especially oysters.
