2023 Casa de la Ermita La Roble

Deep cherry red with youthful purple highlights. The nose is vibrant and fruit-driven, offering aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum, complemented by notes of vanilla, sweet spice and a touch of cocoa from its brief period in oak.

On the palate, the wine is smooth, generous and approachable, showcasing juicy dark berry fruit balanced by soft tannins and fresh acidity. Flavours of blackberry compote, black plum and cherry are layered with hints of mocha, liquorice and toasted oak. Medium to full-bodied, it displays excellent balance between fruit purity and subtle oak influence, leading to a rounded, lingering finish with notes of spice and dark chocolate.

Made predominantly from Monastrell, Jumilla's signature grape, La Roble captures the warmth and richness of southeastern Spain while maintaining freshness and drinkability.
