2023 Doran Vineyards Iosa Shiraz

Harvesting was done by hand for both grape cultivars.  Cold soaked before regular punch downs during wild yeast fermentation. After fermentation and a aceration period of eight weeks, the wine was transferred to old oak 300L French barrels for 16 months in 2nd & 3rd French oak. This Shiraz has a component of 10% Grenache Noir. The wines were made individually, and then blended together to find
the ultimate taste and structure.

The wine shows elegant foral-scented berry fruit. Gentle tannins and a spicy oak palate derived from the Grenache. Vibrant charcoal red with an abundance of black fruits & spice with smooth tannins.
