Deep ruby-purple in colour, this Northern Rhône Syrah displays an attractive bouquet of blackberry, blackcurrant and dark cherry, intertwined with classic notes of cracked black pepper, violet and smoked bacon. Subtle hints of liquorice, olive tapenade and graphite add further complexity.

The palate is concentrated yet beautifully balanced, with ripe dark berry fruit framed by fine-grained tannins and vibrant freshness. Layers of blackberry, plum and black olive are complemented by savoury spice, mineral undertones and a touch of cocoa. The texture is silky and refined, reflecting the finesse of the Saint-Joseph appellation, while the finish is long, persistent and peppery, with lingering notes of dark fruit and floral lift.

The 2022 vintage offers both generosity and structure, making for an approachable yet age-worthy expression of Northern Rhône Syrah.
