Zagreus is one of the long standing Bulgarian wineries with great reputation over the years with the team’s strong belief that what happens in the vineyard and in their consciousness determines the result in the bottle. Dimitar Kostadinov is a third generation winemaker. His long term ambition was to improve the development of the vineyards and winery so they started looking after them organically since 2010 and getting BIO certified in 2013.
Grapes are dried for several months before fermentation, resulting in an intense, inky-red colour.
