Telmo Rodriguez is one of the most well known personalities in Spanish winemaking. His family home is Remelluri in Rioja Alavesa a truly special place to learn and grow. For more than 30 years Telmo and his business partner Pablo Eguzkiza have been rediscovering and recovering historic regions and vines around Spain. In the 1990’s Telmo and Pablo decided to revive what no doubt had once been the most important of all: the “Mountain Wine” of Málaga.
Planted on very steep South-West facing vineyards, the Telmo Rodriguez Mountain Blanco is 100% Muscat of Alexandria. Light and aromatic, fruit and floral aromas, honeysuckle, citrus fruits, mineral. Dry and silky on the palate with a slight almond note towards the end.
