Mariposa Alegre translates as joyful butterfly and relates to a local legend of a love story between a young Inca warrior and a beautiful princess who tragically died and left the warrior broken-hearted. Like butterflies, emotions are ephemeral, while beauty remains forever.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN - COLCHAGUA VALLEY
Colchagua is undoubtedly one of the best-known valleys in Chile. Probably because it presents excellent conditions for the development of red and white wines. This is because the valley extends from the sea to the coastal range. Clay and granitic soils predominate, which are ideal for producing excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Carmenère.

Winemaking: Traditional in stainless steel tanks with an average length of
30 days, and temperatures about 26-28°C during alcoholic fermentation.
Ageing: 12 months in French oak barrels.

Colour: Red with garnet hues, bright.
Nose: Notes of cherry, cassis, spices and cloves.
Palate: Mature palate, with flavours of strawberry jam, vanilla. Medium
acidity, medium high persistence.
Drink now or over the next 5 years.
