----------------------------------------
Mariposa Alegre translates as joyful butterfly and relates to a local legend of a love story between a young Inca warrior and a beautiful princess who tragically died and left the warrior broken-hearted. Like butterflies, emotions are ephemeral, while beauty remains forever.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN - COLCHAGUA VALLEY
Colchagua is undoubtedly one of the best-known valleys in Chile. Probably because it presents excellent conditions for the development of red and white wines. This is because the valley extends from the sea to the coastal range. Clay and granitic soils predominate, which are ideal for producing excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Carmenère.
