This is a delicious mature Rhone from the village of Cairanne. Made from a blend of 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah. The two grapes are vinified separately, with the Syrah maturing in barrel and the grenache in large inert tanks, to retain the vibrancy. Drinking perfectly now and would happily out perform many a Chateauneuf-du-Pape!
A perfect wine to match to an oxtail stew.
