Chateau Megyer is located in the Tokaji producing region in north-eastern Hungary at the foothills of the Zemplen mountains. Zemplén is the PGI surrounding the Tokaj PDO. 100% Chardonnay, which is not one of the 6 grapes allowed to carry the label of Tokaj hence the name Zempleni Chardonnay.
