What a treat in Weybridge this weekend, we are showing one of our finest!
2015 Whispering Angel Rose, Chateau d'Esclans
Celebrating arrival of the summer (may long it last!), we have on tasting top quality Rose from South of France. Classic Provence, pale salmon in colour, this is delicate and fresh with plenty of strawberry fruit and a long finish. Beautifully made, soft and round it displays a lovely creaminess with hints of spice.
"This is the greatest ever vintage of the world's most famous rose wine."

2015 Flametree Chardonnay
An absolute bargain! Definitively Margaret River, but made in an exciting racier, leaner style. It has a wonderful combination of fine fruit flavours and tight structure associated with the new wave of modern Margaret River Chardonnays. Dried pear, grapefruit, melon and fig are supported by subtle French oak. The palate is textured and savoury, a result of wild ferment, solids and different yeast strains.
"Gingin clone, hand-picked and whole bunch-pressed for wild yeast barrel ferment (100% new French oak); matured for 12 months. Margaret River chardonnay at its elegant best, with white peach, cashew and grapefruit standing clear and proud, the barrel ferment inputs there, but relatively subtle.
Drop dead gold medal quality"

2012 Pegasus Bay Pinot Noir
This vintage is sensational! The extraordinary, earthy, low underpinning of fruit is twinned with an epic, savoury finish. The oak control is phenomenal, showing more elegance and sophistication than hundreds of Burgundies. The fruit is superbly fresh and vibrant with red notes throughout.
Pegasus Bay is one of the most innovative wineries in New Zealand today.
