2012 Domaine Sarabande, Faugeres AOP- France
Grenache based but with a proportion of Syrah & Carigan. A complex wine, partly aged in oak and blended expressing the extraordinary terroir of the Faugères AOP. The combination of schist soils, old vines and Mediterranean makes perfect for organic practices.
On the nose is ripe and earthy with a deep dark cherry to black fruit character. On the palate is meaty savouriness with generously fruit flavours and nuanced with spice-box.
Great with a board of Charcuterie.

2014 Atlantis Treixadura, Ribeiro D.O – Spain
Hillside vineyards located in the valleys that the rivers Miño and Avia formed around the medieval village of Ribadavia in Ribeiro. The soils are of granitic origin, with a high presence of stones and gravel and Franco-gritty textures.
You get a lovely yellow gold hue to this wine in the glass, a wonderfully intense and complex aromas of ripe fruit. Combine this with the rich and creamy texture and a hint of acidity and you get a great glass of wine!
The ideal to accompany seafood and white meats.
