2015 Gavi di Gavi, Massone, Italy

£13.99 per bottle
£11.89 pb in a mixed 6
£11.19 pb in a mixed 12

A relatively new addition to our range, this Gavi comes from the rolling hills of Piemonte in northwestern Italy. Stefano Massone took over the vineyard from his father and makes this wine from the Cortese grape with minimal chemical intervention. Slight peachy notes with hints of citrus are backed up with fresh acicidity resulting in a refreshing and complex wine.

2012 Chant de l'Olivier, Domaine la Prade Mari, France
£15.99 per bottle
£13.59 pb in a mixed 6
£12.79 pb in a mixed 12

From Minervois in southern France, this is another of our old friend Eric Mari's exciting reds. Grenache, Syrah and Carignan are vinified separately, blended and aged in oak for 12 months. The result is another gem; full-bodied, lush and fruity backed up by soft tannins. Very approachable now but also with some ageing potential. Delicious!
