This smooth, ripe wine comes from organic grapes grown in clay and stone soil that adds a mineral edge. 2014 Smoking Loon, Old Vine Zinfandel £15.99
This opens with complex aromas of, plum, and blackberry cobbler. On the palate, black raspberry and cinnamon dominate. In the background, coconut and vanilla indicate the presence of American oak aging.
