2015 Eirados LBV

Quinta Santa Eufémia is a family company that has been producing Port & Douro wines since 1864. Located in the Douro region of Baixo and Cima Corgo on the left side of the river Douro at an altitude about 300m above sea level, the estate continues to be managed by the Carvalho family. Eirados is one of the oldest vineyards of the Quinta and produce Ports of classic styles.

Intense and mature fruits such as red currant and plums with some lovely spicy notes. For a fairly young LBV the Eirados is showing good fruit structure and real complexity, but the tannins also show a great aging potential.
