2018 Quinta do Espinho Espinho Colheita

The Macedo Pinto family has a long history of viticulture in the Douro Valley with records dating back to 1755. Quinta do Espinho is devoted to the traditional grape varieties of the Douro Valley, with plantings of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz predominating. Since 1999, the winemaking has been under the guidance of Jean-Hugues Gros who has a wealth of winemaking experience from working in Burgundy, Champagne, California and the Douro.

The Espinho Colheita is made from the traditional Touriga, Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca grape varieties. Ruby colored wine, with notes of ripe red fruit, deep and intense in the mouth.
