Tenuta di Ghizzano Veneroso is a distinguished organic Tuscan red wine from the historic Tenuta di Ghizzano estate near Pisa. Crafted predominantly from Sangiovese with a smaller proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, it combines the elegance and freshness of Tuscany with impressive depth and structure. Rich aromas of ripe dark berries, spice, tobacco and subtle oak lead to a complex, refined palate with silky tannins and a long, mineral finish. A benchmark wine of the Terre di Pisa DOC, Veneroso is an excellent partner for roast meats, game and mature cheeses.
"The 2016 Veneroso is one of the most elegant wines I have tasted from Ghizzano. Bright, effusive aromatics lift a core of red Sangiovese fruit, all framed by nervous tannins that give the wine its shape.
