2021 Domaine Albert Mann Riesling Alsace

This Domaine is an amalgamation of two great winemaking families – the Manns (winemakers since the 17th century) and the Barthelmés (winemakers since 1654) who are the current owners. Located in Wettolsheim, in the heart of Alsace, the estate is ideally placed to produce wine of the highest quality from vineyards that include some of the regions most iconic crus. Biodynamic since 1997, the work and investment put in by this winery has given its wines their own unique identity. Thanks to the biodynamic approach it promotes healthy organic soil life and the development of mycorrhizae present on the vine roots. Fermented in stainless steel with native yeast and matured on lees.

Tasting Note: This has an expressive nose of citrus fruits such as lemon and hint of lime, a lively attack on the palate and a hint of minerality.

Food match: A natural accompaniment to salmon or sea bream, as well as seafood and crustaceans.
