Delavenne Pere et Fils NV Rose Marne Grand Cru Champagne

Based in Bouzy, a 100% certified Grand Cru village, Champagne Delavenne is an independent, 4th generation, family owned champagne house making organic, low sulphur, vegan friendly and award winning champagnes. Quite a rarity in Champagne, the Delavenne family are what is known as recoltants-manipulants, meaning they own and work their land, and only make champagne from the grapes they grow, so vigneron Jean-Christophe has complete control from start to finish.
Last year our Tasting Room Manager Ellie went off to see for herself and came back singing their praises to the heavens and back. We are delighted her enthusiasm has born fruit and we are now stocking their entire range!
Mono-Cru Grand Cru Bouzy Brut Rose is created by blending Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from two selected harvests and adding a touch of Bouzy Rouge. Strawberry and blackberry bouquet, with aromas of red berries, baked red apples and rose petals. This Champagne is juicy and mouth-filling with a creamy persistent mousse, and an elegant, mineral-laced finish. Enjoy as an aperitif or with chocolate desserts, fresh strawberry or cherry pie.
