Located in Hungary

The vineyards of Chateau Megyer were originally planted by Count Ferenc Dobó in 1576, achieving the title of Grand Cru by Royal Decree in 1737. This winery, in north-eastern Hungary’s scenic Tokaji-Hegyalja region, shares winemaking facilities with its its sister vineyard Pajzos – these are based at Rákóczi Cellars at Sárospatak Castle, one of Hungary’s best-preserved Renaissance castles.
