2021 Villa Mottura Stilio Primitivo di Manduria DOC

It was 1927 when Pasquale Mottura looked out over the vast stretches of vineyards he had gradually set up over the years and decided to give new life to the fruit of his work by founding one of the most important wineries on the Salento. Mottura has always set itself ambitious quality goals, convinced of the expressive power of native local grape varieties such as Primitivo and Negroamaro and committed to continuing ancient wine-making traditions.

The Stilio Primitivo is an intense red colour with purple reflections. A full bodied, velvety red wine with bold flavours of jammy red fruits, morello cherry, dried plum, and honts of vanilla and clove. A great red to pair with red meats, roasts, aged cheese and game.
