2020 Henners Native Grace Barrel Chardonnay

Henners is nestled in one of the driest, sunniest pockets of the UK, only 5 miles from the Sussex coast. Only the best fruit from the excellent 2018 harvest was selected for this barrel-fermented expression. The barrels were a mixture of new and old French oak, in which the wine was both fermented and then matured for 6 months. Fresh, saline apple and lemon, delicate spice and a creamy texture. Pair with roast chicken, grilled fish or cheese soufflé.
