2021 Terra d'Alter Alfrocheiro

The Terra d’Alter vineyards are based in Alto Alentejo, a high-quality wine-producing region just two hours drive inland from Lisbon where vineyards date back to Roman times. The vineyards cover extensive plains and gentle hills, always providing intense exposure to sunlight which assists the grapes’ development, maturation and quality. Many indigenous varieties are grown plus international varieties such as Viognier.

Native Portuguese grape variety Alfrocheiro is described as the "Pinot of Portugal". The Terra d'Alter Alfrocheiro has flavours of black cherries and soft red fruits, with a creamy, silky finish.
