A fresh, complex wine with aromas of blackcurrants and plums with tobacco and chocolate notes.
Vinification: Aged for 14 months in 225 litre barrels, 50% French and 50% American oak.
Tasting Note: Masses of black fruit aromas with subtle tobacco and chocolate notes. Rich and concentrated, the tannins are smooth and well integrated and leads to a long lingering finish.
Food Matches: Pair with poultry and small game, red meats and stews. An excellent accompaniment to cheese
