Grapes are sourced from the Campo Rotaliano, an alluvial plain between the Rivers Adige and Noce - an ideal area for cultivating vines and the heartland of the indigenous Teroldego grape. After 8-10 days' maceration in stainless steel, maturation is carried out in large oak barrels for 6-8 months before bottling.
A fruit-forward and vibrant red with aromas of ripe red cherry and forest fruits. A savoury palate with juicy fruit balanced by fresh sappy acidity. Ripe summer pudding and redcurrant characters mingle with bitter chocolate, liquorice and spicy notes.
