1x 2022 Domaine Alexandre Chablis
This lovely Chablis is from Domaine Alexandre, three generations of wine makers from the heart of Chablis in the Burgundy region. This wine is made from 25 year old vines. The wine is fermented in steel vats and then aged in oak for 10 months before bottling. The colour of this wine is a beautiful pale yellow gold, with light green highlights. The nose is young and fresh with scents of citrus and floral. The palate has lemon and lemongrass with that minerality you expect in a Chablis. It's a delightful wine that will pair perfectly with seafood, oysters, sushi, grilled trout or chicken.
1x 2020 Domaine Belleville Rully La Cree
Domaine Belleville was created in Rully at the beginning of the 20th century in the heart of winemaking Burgundy. 'La Crée' refers to a stony slope, with this vineyard located to the east of the village of Rully. Produced from five subplots of varying ages and orientations. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 25% in new oak. A fat and rich Burgundy with good complexity. Toasty, buttery and a lively acidity.
