The £60 Red Mix 6x75cl

At £60, the concept is a home adventure for the taste buds. We’re not looking to send you to the moon and back, instead, these are all just seriously good examples of our favourite styles, made to hit a price point around which we find more value than at anywhere else in our range.

Two each of the following:

2017 Rioja Crianza Palacio del Camino Real

Probably wines the award for the easiest red to drink (medium-heavy category). Garnacha, Tempranillo and Viura blended perfectly into a full, fruity style with a vanilla edge and a little spice.

2019 Contrada Maestra Barbera Cantine Povero

Fantastic wine. Unpretentious Barbera is often seen against its near-neighbour Nebbiolo, which is made into the superstars Barolo or Barbaresco and therefore dismissed. However what gets forgotton is that winemakers grew this as a drinking wine - so it's rich, developed fruit and beautifully clean acidity is razor-sharp in it's brilliance when paired with decent Italian food. Dig out of the porchetta, a tomato salad and a copious splash of olive oil. Excellent.

2018 Pinot Nero Della Quercia Castel del Lupo Oltrepo Pavese

Pinot Noir grown unexpectedly in Lombardy. Warm and ripe with black-fruits, and spicy notes make this a unique Pinot, and very more-ish!

Please note - to get your wines to you as fast as possible, we will will substitute out of stock lines in our mixed cases for one of equal value, drinkability and deliciousness.
