The vineyards providing the fruit for this wine are sited in the cool regions of both the Blue Pyrenees in Victoria and Tasmania and this gives them ability to make wonderful, fresh and vibrant fizz - this is a belter!
Taché is the French word for ‘stained’. When disgorged, Taltarni Taché is stained with red wine, imparting its unique flavour and elegant salmon colour.
This is made from a blend of Chardonnay 63%, Pinot Noir 29%, Pinot Meunier 8%
Pale salmon in colour with a lovely elegant mousse. On the nose gentle notes of fresh red fruit, with a touch of brioche/hazelnut. On the palate the wine has a lively balance, with a good textured depth. Great as an aperitif but works well with rich shellfish dishes too.
