2020 Riesling Kabinett Johannisberger Erntebringer

Rheingau sits, funnily enough, on the Rhine, and Villa Gutenberg is privy to some prize sites right on the river around Oestrich-Winkel where the river flows directly east-west. The Ernteberger vineyards are behind the town, overlooking the river, yielding delicate Riesling fruit. This Kabinett is classic; off-dry with vibrant fresh lime, flowers, and white peach, with a steely finish. Drink with smoked fish, spicy Thai dishes, or breaded white meat.
