Maison Olivier Pere et Fils are based in Trelou-sur-Marne.  Previously, they sold all their grapes to well known Champagne houses, in particular Pol Roger but now they are making their own Champagnes.

I simply loved this delicious fresh, vibrant style, so much so we shipped a pallet.  It's made from a blend of 80% Pinot Meunier, 10% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, and then aged for 4 years.

An elegant, light gold colour, on the nose it shows delicate notes of red apple, touches of citrus peel and a light brioche notes.  On the palate, this has a lovely persistent mousse, clean, fresh and well-balanced, with plenty of tangy red fruit, juicy apple, and brioche. A lovely generous finish too - the perfect Champagne for aperitif!
