Sicily’s reputation has grown hugely in the last 30 years, owing much of their fame to Planeta and Donnafugata where both local and international varieties are both celebrated.
This case is a celebration of their wines, and it was rather difficult to choose just 6, but we just about managed! We have included three wines from each producer: a Frappato each for a direct comparison; a Chardonnay and an Etna Bianco to showcase the potential of Sicilian whites; and a Grillo and Nero d’Avola, for the simpler joys
