The Visionaire is a terrific wine from Franschhoek and is one of our best sellers. This is a great alternative for fans of Chocolate Block, made from a similar blend of grape varieties and it's a few quid cheaper to boot!
On the nose, there are lashings of dark, ripe notes of plums/damsons, a touch of chocolate/coffee bean and some lovely integrated oak, with a well-pronounced spice from the Syrah.
On the palate, this is full-bodied, juicy with a firm, ripe tannin structure backed by well-balanced acidity.
