2015 Spatburgunder XXL - Single Bottles

We've been able to secure a small allocation of Fritz Wassmer's best Spatburgunders, which is German Pinot Noir, at a very special price allowing us to sell them on these excellent case deals.

Fritz Wassmer has established himself among the top winemakers in Baden with his internationally acclaimed Pinot Noir. His family has been involved in viticulutre and agriculture for generations in the village of Schlatt and this is where he was first introduced to work in the vineyards. He hasn’t looked back since. Even though it would take a few years before Fritz Wassmer would produce his own wine, the cornerstone for his great love was laid at a young age.

Fritz Wassmer's XXL Spatburgunder is a multi-award winning pinot noir. The wine has a compact, dense bouquet dominated by red cherries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and aromas of spices such as anise. The palate is elegant and delicious with lots of plum, raspberry and cherry accompanied by aniseed.
