The Albariño grapes are hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed, then fermented in stainless steel. The wine is bottled young with no lees contact, as the winemaker has chosen to focus on the fruit character and a fresh and vibrant style, rather than a more savoury, leesy expression of Albariño.
Surrounded by the countryside of the the Val do Salnés, Bodegas Granbazan – the producer of Fish & Co – was founded in 1981 with a winery and French-inspired manor house at the heart of the 13.5-hectare Finca Tremoedo vineyard.
