This family Domaine is now in its 12th generation. Jean Trimbach is their brand ambassador (and he is very good!), whilst brother Pierre Trimbach is in the vineyard and cellar, ably helped by his son and father too – this really is a family affair.
Exotic yet not remotely sweet, the lychees, roses, ginger and geranium finishing dry and quietly elegant. A food-friendly wine. The drivers are minerality and a crisp lemony acid backbone leading in to a long finish.
Domaine Trimbach is based in Ribeauvillé, in the heart of the Alsace, where it has passed down through 13 generations of the same family. The firm has been devoting itself to the production of top-quality Alsace wines since 1626.
