Created in 2001 by wine growers going back four generations, Domaine La Loyane is a family owned vineyard cultivating 25 hectares in Rochefort du Gard, Tavel and Lirac.
Don't be put off by the darker hue of this rose. The grapes used in this rose impart more colour (and also fruit intensity) to the juice, but it is in fact a still a rose with lovely elegance, finesse and freshness. On the nose there is an adundance of fresh fruits from black cherries to strawberries to pomegranate. Really well balanced on the palate, with good acidity but a nice texture to the wine that would make it a great rose for pairing with food.
