David & Nadia is a family owned Swartland driven project and focus on a spectrum of organic, old and dry land bush vine vineyards from different areas with different soil types throughout the Swartland, farmed by like-minded people. In the vineyard they aim for biological farming and in the cellar they work as natural as possible. They believe in a pure, fresh and natural style where site and soil are at work with minimal influence from a winemaking point of view.

A focused nose of grassy herbs, Thai green papaya salad, mango and lime leaf, white peach, and a touch of pineapple. A more understated style in 2019 with evident aging potential. Predominantly Chenin Blanc on granitic soils with an old vine focus. Grenache Blanc from the Kasteelberg adds a bit of breadth and intensity derived from schist soils, while the Verdelho, a new addition, counteracts it with freshness and saltiness to add another level of complexity. A classy expression of Aristargos. Nothing oily here, just silky, layered fruit. Chenin blanc (47%), SŽmillon (13%), Clairette blanche (11%), Viognier (10%), Marsanne (8%), Roussanne (6%), Verdelho (3%) and Grenache blanc (2%). Whole bunch pressed, fermented naturally, and raised in neutral French oak casks for 11 months.
