Tonight we examine Cabernet Sauvignon, the worlds most planted grape variety. Producing intense, deep and powerful Red Wines.
But what differences do terroir, history, winemaking have on this varietal.This highly regarded grape variety was bred from Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc sometime in the 17th century in the region of Bordeaux. It has then travelled the world making its name in Napa, Stellenbosch, Mendoza and many more of the finest wine regions in the world.

The Tasting will be served with platters of Cheese, Charcuterie as well as nibbles, olives and breads.

Tickets to an event at The Vineking require prepayment to secure your booking.
All dietary requirements where possible will be catered for. Please confirm these asap after your booking. For some theme nights it may not be possible to cater for all dietary needs.
If you have to cancel your table with 14+ days notice we will refund your payment in full.
If cancellation is between 7-14 days before the event, you will be entitled to a 50% refund or we will offer to reschedule you to another date if possible.
In the event that we can resell the places booked, there will be a 100% refund. However, we offer no refund payment if there is less than 7 days notice of cancellation unless we can resell the places booked.
