Grand David de Mauvinon is a small estate on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux region, only 5 km from the town of Saint-Emilion. A classic right-bank Bordeaux. 100% merlot with rich, ripe dark fruit on the palate. A well balanced, round wine with a lot of volume and amplitude. Serve with steak, veal liver and shallots, or with a hearty Winter stew along with seasonal vegetables or pan-fried mushrooms.
