"The 2016 du Breuil has a well-defined bouquet with blackberry, tobacco and cedar aromas that demand some coaxing from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin. This is nicely poised with plenty of black cherries and iodine notes, although I find there is too much new oak smothering the finish**."
