Located in the heart of the Terlan wine-growing region and founded in 1893, it is one of the oldest Alto Adige cooperatives. Over the years Cantina Terlano has produced many memorable wines ranking amongst the greatest and highest rated white wines of the world. The unique microclimate at the foot of Mount Tschöggel determines the potential age-worthiness and the characteristics of the wines. The soils are very rich in schists and porphyry, a rocky nature that allows for heat accumulation and excellent water drainage, producing elegant and high quality wines.

2022 Cantina Terlano Pinot Grigio
Intensive straw yellow color. Terlano Pinot Grigio pairs stimulating fruit - reminiscent of grapefruit, lychee and white melon - with the floral aromatic character of a freshly mown meadow. With its finely balanced components - from aromas of black tea to exotic fruity nuances of melon and ripe grapefruit - this is a superbly full and at the same time mellow wine.
2022 Cantina Terlano Terlaner
A composition of Terlano’s three most traditional white varieties, namely Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon, this old cuvée, which was one of the wines produced when the winery was founded, is an extremely complex wine. On the nose, green apple and white peach combine with fine nuances of lemon balm and mint to create the typical aroma of the classic Terlano. Peach is very strong on the palate, too, lending the Terlano its lively character. The multifaceted, well-structured flavor derives from an interplay of freshness and minerality and also has a wonderfully persistent finish.
2022 Cantina Terlano Pinot Bianco
On the nose this classic Pinot Bianco scores with crisp notes of pear mingling with aromas of raspberry and lime, plus a touch of camomile and lemon grass to round off the composition. Body and balance sum up the Pinot Blanc, which intrigues the palate with the fruit of the pear and quince aromas combined with a salty minerality. The wine tickles the tongue and goes on to deliver a persistent aftertaste.
2022 Cantina Terlano Gewurztraminer
The stimulating aroma of the Gewürztraminer is reminiscent of lychee and mango with delicate notes of honeysuckle. The aromatic spectrum also includes notes of rose petal, which are typical of this variety. The unique quality of the aromatic character of the wine is continued on the palate, with fresh fruit and lively acidity combining with mineral notes to leave a very round and at the same time firm impression.
2022 Cantina Terlano Chardonnay
With cool climate Chardonnays becoming increasingly hard to come by and indeed more expensive, this stunning version sits perfectly as a chablis-esque alternative. The aroma of this Chardonnay releases exotic fruity impressions with nuances of banana, quince, passion fruit, mango and sugar melon plus a hint of lemon balm. A touch of pear gives the Chardonnay a mouthfeel that is very soft and harmonious combined with sweetish exotic fruit components. Its slightly mineral note makes this wine very smooth and adds an intriguing contrast.
2022 Cantina Terlano Pinot Noir
A beautifully elegant Pinot Noir. Lively vermilion to ruby red colour. Fresh stimulating nose with an aromatic spectrum ranging from blackberry and bilberry to a hint of cherry brandy with notes of licorice and aromas of undergrowth. On the palate, this Pinot Noir offers a delightful balance between ripe fruit and a delicate tannin structure which confers elegance on this minerally red wine.
