Neal Martin - "The 2018 Boekenhoutskloof Noble Late Harvest has a lovely honey, quince and yellow plum nose that blossoms in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a viscous texture effortlessly offset by the line of acidity. Very pure, very seductive, revealing lovely peachy notes on the finish. I should not use the word "yummy" in a tasting note, but that is exactly what this is."

Boekenhoutskloof was established in 1776 and is located in the furthest corner of the beautiful Franschhoek valley. In 1993 the farm and homestead was bought and restored and a new vineyard planting programme was established that now includes Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Semillon and Viognier. Boekenhoutskloof were named Platters 'Winery of the Year'.

The wine shows lots of freshness and not sticky in any way. This will age well. Only four barrels were made!
