2021 Albarino Follas Novas Rias Baixas

A delicious Albarino from a 200 acre plot in the heart of the Salnes Valley in the Rias Baixas. Good rainfall and small temperature variations are combined with sandy loam soils of granite origin that are lightly acidic. The work in the vineyard and the winery seeks to express a unique 'terroir' through careful viniculture and the latest winemaking techniques. Intense fresh citrus aromas, well balanced stone fruit and pomegranate nose. In the mouth it produces a balsamic sensation, aromatic herbs with a mineral and floral base, leading in to a crisp finish. A harmonic whole that perfectly defines the character of Albarino. A perfect pairing with shellfish, white fish and sushi.
