Low rainfall, intense sunlight and wide day-to-night temperature shifts create excellent conditions for grape growing, enabling many wineries to farm organically. Although grapes were grown here 2,000 years ago, modern Ningxia began to take shape in 1998, when extensive research confirmed the region’s potential and large areas were planted with vines.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Magma Red Blend is a full-bodied, soft and satisfying unoaked red made from 41.5%\u003cbr\u003eCabernet Sauvignon, 41.5% Merlot, 11% Malbec and 6% Dunkelfelder. Generous ripe fruit is\u003cbr\u003ebalanced by the freshness of Ningxia’s high-altitude climate, while the Bordeaux varieties\u003cbr\u003egive the wine structure and a smooth, rounded texture.\u003cbr\u003eTasting Note: Deep ruby in colour with inviting aromas of cassis, bramble fruit, dark cherry\u003cbr\u003eand a touch of cedar spice.
