Loosely translated to ‘little hell’, Infiernillo gets its name from the Descabazado volcano which sits in the mountain range above the Andes. The grapes are sourced from cool climate vineyards in Casablanca which borders the Leyda Valley. The wine is aged for 9 months in french oak.

The Pinot Noir has bright wild strawberry aromatics, which follow through on a palate of cranberry, a touch of creme fraiche which finishes refreshingly crunchy and tart.

Ok, but probably wouldn’t order again.

This was alright, but probably wouldn’t order again. I guess there’s a reason it was only £8.30ish a bottle.
