Las Veletas winery is located a traditional, old property located on the dry area of San Javier, in the Maule Valley. For many years vineyards have grown país, carignan and carmenere. This Chilean red is a blend of 85% Pais (a common grape variety in Chile) and 15% Carignan. The wine is aged in french oak barrels of second use for over 12 months. After malolactic fermentation takes place, the wine it is aged for a year to gain structure, elegance and complexity.
