Domaine Olivier Guyot is based in Marsannay but has vineyard holdings all over the Côte de Nuits including 3 Grand Crus, Clos de la Roche, Clos St. Denis and Clos Vougeot. Until a few years ago he ploughed all of his 15 hectares using his own horse but since he has gone lame he now employs a professional horse. Olivier has a light touch in the winery and makes superbly well balanced wines combining power, fruit and elegance to make delightful wines which drink well young and will also reward aging.
