An award winning ripe Chardonnay produced in the Danube Plain in Bulgaria. The juicy peach and lemon enhanced by estragon and stony overtones give this wine its distinctive aroma. It is lush, voluminous and ripe, with a nimble yet ample structure.
Bononia Estate’s beautiful vineyards are located on the banks of the Danube river, stretching over 1500 hectares in the Vidin region. A boutique hotel sits among the well-cultivated vines, along with the winery itself in a building that was originally a brewery when it was built in 1895.
