A small wooded village perched at the top of its own side-valley by Auxey-Duresses, Saint-Romain is stunning value for money. Rich, powerful wines with crisp mineral finishes, in the best years they are often compared favourably to Meursault wines.
Ambroise’s Saint-Romain has an orange and white peach palate with a fresh and saline complexity which keeps the mouth watering from the brisk acidity. This is drinking marvellously right now, but will still age for a couple of years to come.
