Lessona’s soil, with its ancient marine sands, restores finesse and a delicate touch to the wines from this corner of Piedmont. This wine is made from a blend of the best Nebbiolo and Vespolona, selected from parcels of land in Lessona. Matured in barriques for 1 year and then the wine is moved to 5000L French barrel for another 2 years. 1 year bottle refinement before release. Complex nose of red fruits, hints of tea, orange peel, iron, and earth. The palate is rounded, silky, and delicate, with earthy tones and bright acidity.
Like an exceptional Barolo but without the price tag!
