2015 Bramare Cabernet Sauvignon, Marchiori Vineyard, Vina Cobos, Mendoza, Argentina 6x75cl

Vina Cobos are at the very top of the pile when it comes to quality wine production in Argentina. World renowned winemaker, Paul Hobbs has been at the forefront of winemaking in Mendoza for over 20 years - winning loyal fans and consistently gaining the highest scores from the critics. Not only did he release the first ever single varietal Argentinian Malbec to the market, but he was also the first winemaker to score 100 points for a South American wine from James Suckling.

The Marchiori Estate is poised 995 meters above sea level in the Lujan de Cuyo, and the vines have an average age of 50 years. The estate lies on deep soils with an upper stratum of clay-loam to sandy-loam, and substrata of river-washed cobbles and round stones. The Marchiori Vineyard was the first property that Paul sourced fruit from in Mendoza, but before him its long history stretches back to the days of the Spanish Empire.

Deep crimson. On the nose, there are integrated aromas of red fruits and cassis, notes of tobacco, chocolate, pepper and clove, accompanied by mocha, graphite and hints of gunpowder. Unctuous with marked tannins, the finish is long and very complex.
